These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“the client”) and Placenta Remedies (“we”, “us”, or “our”) for the provision of placenta encapsulation services and related products. By using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Services Provided
Placenta Remedies offers placenta encapsulation and complementary postpartum services such as placenta prints, cord keepsakes, oils, and hampers. All products are prepared using high hygiene standards, with the aim of supporting your postnatal recovery naturally.
2. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is payable before final delivery.
Services are confirmed only once we receive your completed booking form and deposit.
Payment methods accepted include [insert: e.g. bank transfer, PayPal, cash].
3. Placenta Collection and Handling
The client is responsible for safely storing the placenta in a clean, sealed container, ideally refrigerated or on ice, and arranging collection promptly (usually within 12–24 hours of birth).
We reserve the right to refuse encapsulation if we believe the placenta has not been stored safely or poses a health risk.
Any collection outside agreed hours or zones may incur additional charges.
4. Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround for encapsulation and delivery is typically 3–5 working days.
This may vary depending on location, service load, or unforeseen delays (e.g. hospital restrictions).
5. Cancellations and Refunds
If you cancel the service after we have collected or received your placenta, no refunds will be given.
If you cancel before collection and no work has been started, we will refund your payment minus the deposit.
If we are unable to provide the service (e.g. due to illness or other emergency), a full refund will be issued unless otherwise agreed.
6. Use and Safety of Placenta Products
The client understands that placenta remedies are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or illness.
Use of these products is done at your own discretion and risk.

We recommend discussing the use of placenta capsules with your healthcare provider or midwife, especially if you have underlying conditions or are taking medication.
